Dallas Stars forward Ray Whitney chatted briefly with some media members Thursday afternoon. Whitney was one of the team’s key additions in the offseason, signing a two-year, $9 million contract.
Whitney registered 77 points (24 goals, 53 assists) in 82 games for Phoenix last season, ranking 12th in the league in points, and earning Second-Team All-NHL honors.
