The Dallas Stars’ six-game winning streak against the Edmonton Oilers came to an end Thursday night as the Oilers routed the Stars 5-1 at American Airlines Center. Oilers goaltender Devan Dubnyk stopped 33 of 34 shots for his first ever win against the Stars. Dallas goaltender Kari Lehtonen, returning after missing five games with a groin injury, stopped 33 of 38 shots. Jaromir Jagr scored the lone goal for the Stars, who dropped to 10-9-2 on the season.

The Oilers won a game in regulation in Dallas for the first time since December 8, 2006. The Oilers won the 2006 game, 2-0, behind a 22-save shutout from Dwayne Roloson. The Oilers also snapped a six-game losing streak against Dallas with Thursday night’s victory.
