Stars cut roster to 48 players

September 18, 2003

Dallas Stars General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today that the club has assigned defensemen Mark Wotton and Garrett Stafford and center Warren Peters to the Utah Grizzlies, the Stars' minor league affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). The club also announced that they have released two players to their current teams and sent four other players back to their junior squads.

PLAYERS SENT BACK TO JUNIORS: Drew Larman - Sarnia (OHL) Luke Pelham - Moncton (QMJHL) Chris Schlenker - Regina (WHL) Francis Wathier - Hull (QMJHL)
