Stars recall Daley from Utah

Dallas Stars General Manger Doug Armstrong announced today that the NHL club has recalled defenseman Trevor Daley from the Utah Grizzlies, Dallas' primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League.
Daley, 20, has appeared in 23 games for Dallas this season, scoring one goal and five assists for six points with 12 penalty minutes. He made his NHL debut on Oct. 25, 2003 at Columbus. Daley has also played in 39 games with Utah this season, scoring eight goals and six assists for 14 points with 76 penalty minutes. Two of his goals have been game-winners.
The Toronto native was the selected by the Stars in the second round (43rd overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. Daley earned his first NHL point with an assist on Nov. 12 vs. Detroit and scored his first NHL goal on Dec. 10 at Phoenix.
The Stars play the second contest of a four-game road trip at Edmonton on Wednesday (9 PM CT face-off, kdfi 27, News/Talk 829 WBAP). The team also travels to Vancouver on Saturday (9 PM) and San Jose (8 PM) on Sunday.
