Dallas Stars Foundation Grants $100,615 to Children's Charities

FRISCO, Tex. -- The Dallas Stars and the Dallas Stars Foundation announced today the recipients of the Spring 2004 Grant Awards. Since 1998, the Dallas Stars Foundation has distributed $1,768,670.84. This Spring, the Foundation will distribute $100,615.00, bringing the grand total to-date to $1,869,285.84.
The grants were awarded today at a private reception held at Palomino Restaurant in Dallas. Dallas Stars alumnus Craig Ludwig presented the awards.
Those receiving grants are:

|Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB)||$5,000.00|
|Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC)||$11,845.00|
|The Community Enrichment Center, Inc.||$8,400.00|
|The Dallas Jewish Coalition, Inc.dba Vogel Alcove||$5,000.00|
|The Women's Shelter||$7,000.00|
