Park Place/Dallas Stars Casino Night Once Again a Success
The Eighth Annual Park Place Dealerships/Dallas Stars Casino Night was held Thursday night at Park Place Motorcars Dallas. The event was another smashing success. Stars players and coaches were featured as dealers of various casino games including blackjack, craps and roulette, among others.

"I don't know who is having a better time tonight -- the guests or the players," said Marty Turco in-between jobs as a blackjack dealer and a roulette wheel spinner. "This is always a fun event and it is all for a good cause. Park Place does a great job in hosting Casino Night."
More than 400 people attended this year's Park Place/Dallas Stars Casino Night event, which is estimated to have raised over $100,000 for the Dallas Stars Foundation. The Foundation supports local children's charities that positively impact the lives of children through teamwork, interaction and education.
"This is such a fun event for our organization and our fans," said Dallas Stars President Jim Lites. "We enjoy spending the evening with our fans and have a great time while raising money for the Foundation. This year we couldn't be more excited to see everyone and enjoy the surroundings of Park Place's newest dealership."

The Stars coaches were also in on the casino games, with Head Coach Dave Tippett having one of the more popular blackjack tables at one point of the evening. The cheering could be heard throughout the dealership from Tip's table.
"I think they liked playing at my table because they were winning," said Tippett with a laugh. "I won't give away my secret, but let's just say that my dealing method includes some flexibility in card selection."
Fans were able to get up close and personal with all of the Stars players, talk with them and obtain autographs. It was definitely a very fun night.
"Park Place Dealerships has always enjoyed hosting Casino Night," said Neil Grossman, president of Park Place Motorcars. "We have provided a few special items for the silent auction and we hope the evening is a tremendous success for the Dallas Stars Foundation."
