Stars recall defenseman Trevor Daley from Utah

Dallas Stars' General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Trevor Daley from the Utah Grizzlies, the Stars' primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Daley, 20, has played in two games with the Stars this season, making his NHL debut on Oct. 25 at Columbus. He has appeared in 10 games with the Grizzlies this season, posting one assist and 16 penalty minutes. The 5-9, 197-pound defenseman also played in six preseason outings with the Stars in 2003, recording one goal and two assists for three points.
The Toronto, Ontario native has played the past four seasons with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Last season, he had his best offensive year with 20 goals and 33 assists for 53 points in 57 games.
Daley will join the Stars, 7-6-1-0, in Boston, where the club will face off against the Bruins on Saturday night (6 p.m. CST, kdfi). Dallas will then return home to face Detroit (Wed., 7:30 p.m. CST, kdfi) and Phoenix (Fri., 7:30 p.m., FSN) next week.
