This Weekend\u2019s Television Information

Friday’s game at Phoenix and Saturday’s home game vs. Tampa Bay are both FOX Sports Southwest Plus games. As some of you know, the last FSN+ game had technical issues for Time Warner customers. Fox tells us that they met with Time Warner on Wednesday morning and they assured FSN that the technical issues had been worked out and that both Friday and Saturday's game will be available on Time Warner's digital cable channel 960.

Other Plus Channel numbers for the weekend include:

AT&T's U-Verse:  Channel 754 (HD Channel 1754)
DirecTV:  Channel 677 (HD Channel 677-1)
Dish Network:  Channel 452 (HD Channel 9517) Saturday Night Only (Friday is one of the 20 extra Stars games that Dish refuses to air)
Charter Cable unfortunately has not received the proper equipment and
will not have the Plus feed this weekend.

In summary, Friday night's game will be available on Plus in the DFW area on Time Warner, DirecTV and AT&T's U-Verse.  It will not be on Dish Network (surcharge game), Charter or Verizon.

Saturday's game will be on Plus in the DFW area on Time Warner, DirecTV, Dish Network and U-Verse, but not on Charter or Verizon.

We know that some of you are frustrated with not being able to get every Stars telecast through your respective cable or satellite carrier. Dish Network customers have been especially frustrated, with 20 of FSN’s 61 telecasts not available on the carrier because of a negotiation stalemate between FSN and Dish.

Please know that the Dallas Stars organization places a high priority in getting all of our broadcasts into the home of every one of our fans. If you are frustrated fan and want ALL of the Stars games, we encourage you to switch carriers to either AT&T U-Verse or Time Warner Digital Cable, as both carry 100% of the Stars broadcasts this season.

The Stars have spoken with FOX Sports Southwest several times about this stalemate, as it is a priority of ours to get all of these games available to our fans. FOX Sports Southwest is doing everything it can to get these games on Dish Network and has been in constant discussions with the distributor. It has also made this a priority to make sure that all fans have access to every televised Stars game on the network. If you aren’t receiving all Stars telecasts, we encourage you to contact Dish Network and demand that they carry the full-schedule of games on FOX Sports Southwest.
