3.) Kari Lehtonen is scheduled to get the start in goal for the Stars, which will break Marty Turco’s streak of 15 consecutive starts against Anaheim (21 including playoffs). Lehtonen has performed well of late, going 2-0 with a .969 save percentage in his last two starts. Lehtonen has won four of his last five starts, allowing only seven even-strength goals in the process.
4.) Brenden Morrow has also played well lately, with points in four of his last five games, and eight points (3-5-8) in his last seven contests. The Stars’ captain tied a career-high with his four points (2-2-4) against San Jose on March 16. With 18 goals on the season, Morrow is just two away from his sixth career 20-goal season.
5.) One to watch for: Anaheim’s Teemu Selanne leads all active players with 34 goals and 70 points against Dallas in his career. The 39-year-old Finn became just the 18th player in NHL history to score 600 goals when he netted the game-winner on March 21 against Colorado. He is just the third European-born player to reach the milestone, after Jaromir Jagr and Jari Kurri. Selanne has heated up lately, scoring eight points (two goals, six assists) in his last seven games.
