3.) Netminder Matt Climie could start in goal tonight for the Stars. Climie was recalled Thursday from the Texas Stars, Dallas’ primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). He played in three games last season for Dallas, posting a 2-1-0 record with a 2.92 goals-against average. Climie has appeared in 42 contests for Texas this season, going 21-16-3 with a 2.40 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage..
4.) Fans can usually count on a physical showdown whenever these two teams square off against one another. So far in the season series, the teams have a combined 14 fighting majors, one game misconduct and 160 penalty minutes. BJ Crombeen and Cam Janssen lead the way for the Blues with 19 penalty minutes each, while Steve Ott heads the Stars with 16 penalty minutes. Dallas has outhit St. Louis 106-62 in the two contests. Defender Stephane Robidas, who is fourth in the league in hits with 254, has recorded 19 hits against the Blues this season..
5.) One to watch for: Center T.J. Oshie is having a great second season for the Blues. The youngster has improved on his rookie numbers tallying 16 goals and 29 assists for 45 points this year, after posting 39 points (14g, 25a) last season. He is third on the team in scoring, and his assists are a team high. Oshie has collected seven points (4g, 3a) in just six career appearances against Dallas, including two goals and two assists this season.
