Holiday Homestand

The Stars have returned home from a long nine-day odyssey that saw them play on both coasts, going 3-2 on tough trip that kept them at the top of the standings in the Pacific Division.

Now it’s time for some home cookin’.

The Stars play five great games during the two weeks of Christmas and New Year’s Eve, and we want to see you out at American Airlines Center. This week includes some fun match-ups with the Anaheim Ducks (Monday), Philadelphia Flyers (Wednesday), and Nashville Predators (Friday).

Got family in town? Bring ‘em. Looking for something to do? We got you covered.

And there’s no better time to come to a Stars game now that new owner Tom Gaglardi has lowered individual ticket prices.

These games will be the first time fans can take advantage of the new $9 tickets, available only on game day (both on DallasStars.com or at the AAC box office).

Eight-five percent of the Upper Bowl is now $25-or-less. And the best seats in the house downstairs have been lowered; almost two-thirds of the Lower Bowl are $70! These prices are the lowest they’ve been since the team was at Reunion Arena. Fans can take advantage of all of these new prices NOW (except for the $9 seats, which are only available on game day).

Buy your tickets here now!

Of course Dallas Stars tickets make a great holiday gift.

“One of the first things we did as a management team was look at individual ticket prices,” stated Gaglardi. “The fans spoke and we listened. We’re pleased that we can now offer a $9 ticket and we feel that these new prices make Stars games more affordable. Our team needs a full building every night to give us a true home-ice advantage.”

The Stars players thrive on a loud, full building, and are looking to continue their winning ways with some great crowds during the holiday season.

“A big crowd is the number one thing for us to have at home,” said Stars forward Steve Ott. “When you play at home, there is no better way to manufacture energy than having a loud, full building that is behind you. Having a packed building is a lot easier to play in and a lot more fun. It’s not only great for the fans but for the whole organization. It’s what we feed off of; we feed off momentum swings and different areas of the game and the crowd is a big part of that. Having a packed house standing and cheering after a goal or a fight or a big hit  - those are the things that make a building hard to play in for the opposition.”

So get your shopping done and wrap those presents. Then come see your first-place Dallas Stars in some exciting NHL action at American Airlines Center.

See you at the rink!
