Mike Ribeiro Placed On Injured Reserve

Frisco, TX – The Dallas Stars announced today that the club has placed center Mike Ribeiro on injured reserve, retroactive to Jan. 7 when he suffered a lower body injury to the Edmonton Oilers.

Ribeiro, 31, has skated in 40 games for Dallas this season, accumulating 10 goals and 21 assists for 31 points. He ranks second on the team in power play scoring with one goal and six assists (7 points) and had points in eight of his last 11 contests prior to his injury (7 goals, 5 assists).

The Dallas Stars faceoff against the St. Louis Blues on Monday night at 6:30 p.m. CT at Scottrade Center (TV: NBC Sports Network (formerly Versus); Radio: 1310 The Ticket).
