Larsen Activated From Injured Reserve

Frisco, TX – The Dallas Stars announced today that the club has activated defenseman Philip Larsen from injured reserve.

Larsen, 22, has missed the last eight games with an upper body injury after being placed on injured reserve retroactive to  Dec. 31. The 6-0, 190-pound defenseman has skated in 19 games for Dallas this season, registering two assists and 19 shots. He has earned an even or plus rating in 17 games this season and is tied for second among Dallas defensemen with a +7 rating.
 
The Dallas Stars faceoff against the Tampa Bay Lightning Friday night at American Airlines Center (7:30 p.m. CT, TV: FOX Sports Southwest; Radio: 1310 The Ticket).
