Stars to Wear Green for Friday Warm-ups

This Friday night when the Stars host the Chicago Blackhawks, Dallas will don green Reebok practice jerseys for pre-game warm-ups in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.

In addition, the jerseys will feature Gallic fonts for both the numbers and name plate. All of the players were asked to take their name or nickname, and make it Irish-themed, in honor of the holiday.  Each jersey will also include a shamrock on the right lapel.

The Irish-themed surnames that each player picked will be revealed this week via the official Dallas Stars Twitter (@DallasStars) and on the team’s official Facebook page: www.facebook.com/dallasstars , as well as here at DallasStars.com.

All of the jerseys will be autographed and auctioned off to raise money for the Dallas Stars Foundation. More information on the auction is coming soon.

The list of surnames to be used includes the team captain, Brenden Morrow, also known as Brenden O’Morrow.  The list below:
