Jamie Benn logged 11:08 minutes on the ice with one shot to help Canada defeat Belarus 5-1.

Philip Larsen recorded one assist, three shots and recorded a team-high 22:41 minutes on the ice as Norway defeated Denmark 6-2.

Alex Goligoski scored one goal on one shot with a +1 rating in 20:32 minutes on the ice to help lead the United States to a 5-2 win over Switzerland. Goligoski is tied for eighth in defenseman scoring (1 goal, 4 assists) at the 2012 IIHF Ice Hockey Championship.

Richard Bachman served as the backup for Detroit's Jimmy Howard.

Loui Eriksson notched one goal, recorded two shots with a +1 rating in 16:26 minutes on the ice in Sweden's 4-0 win over Latvia. Eriksson is tied for fifth in overall scoring (4 goals, 7 assists, 11 points) at the 2012 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship.
