Dallas Stars Front Office Builds New Ticket Team Led By Matt Bowman As Vice President of Ticket Sales
DALLAS, TX – JUNE 12, 2012 -- Matt Bowman was welcomed to the Dallas Stars this week as Vice President of Ticket Sales. Bowman brings a fresh perspective and strategic planning to the Dallas Stars ticket programs. He reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, Mike McCall. As part of a front office re-alignment, this position is critical to motivating not only the sales team but the fans to build a strong season ticket program and grow home game attendance.

Most recently, Bowman was responsible for helping to build a new sales culture within the Oklahoma Thunder basketball organization beginning in 2009, immediately following their first season. After a 23-win season that year, the staff increased the season ticket base to capacity over the next two seasons, resulting in the organization’s first season ticket wait list and over 50 consecutive sell-outs.
Prior to his role with the Thunder, Bowman was a part of the Dallas Cowboys New Stadium sales initiative, marketing the most aggressively priced personal seat licenses in professional sports history. Matt began his career with the Indiana Pacers in the sales department where he quickly gained additional responsibility.
Bowman is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in Finance and is an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan.
