Stars-Oilers Preview

Dallas Stars at Edmonton Oilers

Wednesday February 6

9:00 p.m.

TV: Fox Sports Southwest Plus

Radio: KTCK-1310 (AM)

About the Stars

The Stars (4-5-1) defeated Colorado, 3-2, in Denver Monday night. Jamie Benn, who had just one assist in four games coming into Monday, had a hand in all three Dallas goals, scoring two and assisting on the other.

“I think we had a little bit of everything on every line,” Benn said. “We can roll four and keep attacking and play a simple game. I felt pretty good. Our line controlled the play a bit more and held onto the puck.”

The victory snapped a three-game road losing streak for the Stars.

Stars coach Glen Gulutzan indicated he could roll with the same lineup he used in Monday’s game.

Kari Lehtonen, who stopped 29 of 31 shots on Monday, will start in goal Wednesday.

Injuries: LW Ray Whitney (foot) is out.
