About the Stars
The Stars (6-5-1) last played Friday, defeating Anaheim, 3-1, at American Airlines Center for their third straight win.
“We’re on a bit of a roll here,” said Stars forward Jamie Benn, who scored a goal in the game. “I thought we played a pretty good team game tonight. We knew they were a good team and we were going to have some tough shifts, and we fought through it and got a big two points.”
Tuesday’s game kicks off a three-game road trip for the Stars, who play at Calgary Wednesday and at Vancouver Friday. The Stars will have played 10 of their first 15 games on the road when the trip concludes.
Kari Lehtonen will start in goal for the Stars Tuesday.
The Stars recalled forward Antoine Roussel from the Texas Stars of the AHL on Monday.
Injuries: LW Ray Whitney (foot) is out.
