Stars-Canucks Preview

Vancouver Canucks at Dallas Stars

Thursday February 21

7:30 p.m.

TV: Fox Sports Southwest

Radio: KTCK-1310 (AM)

About the Stars

The Stars haven’t played since Sunday, when they couldn’t hold a 3-1 lead and lost 4-3 to the Calgary Flames at American Airlines Center.

This will be their second game against the Canucks in less than a week. The Stars rallied from a 3-1 deficit to defeat the Canucks in Vancouver on Friday.

“We know what type of game we are in for,” said Stars forward Eric Nystrom. “They have good speed, they move the puck well and they battle hard. We know we have to be prepared for them but, at the same time, every game is different. We know they’re going to be ready, and we’re going to be ready. It’s going to be a great hockey game.”

Cristopher Nilstorp will get the start in goal for the Stars on Thursday.

Injuries: D Trevor Daley (neck), G Kari Lehtonen (groin) and LW Ray Whitney (foot) are out.
