Quick Recap: Stars 5, Blue Jackets 4 (OT)

The Dallas Stars finally won on the second night of a back-to-back, beating the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-4 in overtime Tuesday night. Loui Eriksson scored the game-winner at 3:03 of the extra period. Brenden Morrow, Derek Roy, Antoine Roussel and Cody Eakin also scored for the Stars, who improved to 10-8-2 on the season. Richard Bachman got the start in goal and stopped 16 of 20 shots.

Stars deal Ryder for Cole

The Stars made big news prior to the game, dealing right wing Michael Ryder and a third round draft pick in 2013 to Montreal for left wing Erik Cole.

Stars win in second game of back-to-back

The Stars won in the second game of a back-to- back for the first time this season (1-4-0) and for just the second time over the last two seasons (2-15-2).
