Quick Recap: Coyotes 2, Stars 1

The Dallas Stars had a four-game points streak on the road come to an end with a 2-1 loss at Phoenix Saturday night. It was just the second regulation road loss in the last nine games for the Stars (6-2-1). Jaromir Jagr scored the lone goal for the Stars, tallying on a five-on-three power play in the second period. Kari Lehtonen stopped 19 shots for the Stars, who fell to 12-10-2 on the season.

Jamie Benn leaves game late after hit to head

Stars center Jamie Benn left the game with just over a minute remaining after he took a shoulder to the head from Coyotes center Martin Hanzal. There was no penalty called on Hanzal and there was no update on Benn.
