Video: Joe Morrow makes Texas Stars debut

Defenseman Joe Morrow, acquired by the Dallas Stars from Pittsburgh in the Brenden Morrow deal on Sunday, made his Texas Stars debut Tuesday night.

Morrow had two assists, a plus-three rating, a team-high four shots on goal and two penalty minutes in Texas’ 7-6 overtime win in Houston. He was paired primarily with William Wrenn, a former teammate with Portland of the WHL.

Alex Chiasson scored the game-winner in OT for Texas. Reilly Smith, assigned to Texas along with Morrow earlier Tuesday, had one goal, one assist and a plus-four rating in the game.

Here are a few video clips of Morrow from Tuesday night’s game. He’s wearing No. 39 for Texas.
