Stars-Ducks Preview

Dallas Stars at Anaheim Ducks

Friday April 5

9:00 p.m.

TV: Fox Sports Southwest Plus

Radio: KTCK-1310 (AM)

About the Stars

The Stars (16-17-3) come into Friday’s third game of their regular season mini-series with the Ducks on a three-game losing streak. The Stars lost another point in the playoff race Thursday night, and are now five points out of eighth place. They remain in 13th place in the Western Conference standings. Despite the tough outlook, the Stars still have plenty to play for.

“We’ve got young guys that want to make an impression and we have a team that still has something to prove here,” said Stars coach Glen Gulutzan. “We’re a different locker room, there’s a lot of pride there. You can see it in (Vernon) Fiddler, (Jamie) Benn, (Ray) Whitney, and all of those guys. There’s a lot of pride in there. We’re going to work hard, we need to toughen our battles and capitalize.”

Injuries: None
