Development Camp started in the late 1990's by the Dallas Stars as a way to acclimate its top prospects to the organization. Over the years, the camp has evolved from strictly on-ice instruction and now serves as a week-long orientation where the club counsels its prospects in the areas of wellness, nutrition, media training and community outreach.
