While Radek Faksa and Esa Lindell played at the World Junior Championship in Sweden, other Stars prospects playing in juniors, Europe and college got back at it this last week after a holiday break. Here\u2019s an update.

While Radek Faksa and Esa Lindell played at the World Junior Championship in Sweden, other Stars prospects playing in juniors, Europe and college got back at it this last week after a holiday break. Here’s an update.

*LW Remi Elie (second round/2013) had a big Sunday afternoon in the Ontario Hockey League, registering 7 points (3 goals, 4 assists) in Belleville’s 9-6 win over Kingston. Ellie, who set career-highs in goals, assists and points, was plus-4 in the game. Elie has 35 points (15 goals, 20 assists) in 29 games with Belleville, which acquired him from London within the OHL in early October.

*C Gemel Smith (fourth round/2012) recorded 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists) in Owen Sound’s 6-2 win over Niagara in the OHL on Saturday. Smith ranks sixth in the OHL in goal scoring with 25 in 37 games.

*LW/C Jason Dickinson (first round/2013) scored a goal in his only game with Guelph of the OHL over the past week. Dickinson has 39 points (15 goals, 24 assists) in 36 games.

*RW Cody Payne (trade acquisition/2013) returned from a three-game suspension in the OHL on Sunday, and had no points for Saginaw. Payne has 21 points (15 goals, 6 assists) in 31 games.

*RW Branden Troock (fifth round/2012) had one goal in two games for Seattle of the WHL. Troock has 31 points (14 goals, 17 assists) in his last 21 games.

*D Dmitry Sinitsyn (seventh round/2012) scored his third goal of the season in Regina’s 8-4 victory over Brandon on Saturday. Sinitsyn has 19 points (3 goals, 16 assists) in 36 games this season.

*G Philippe Desrosiers (second round/2013) had a personal four-game winning streak snapped when Rimouski lost, 5-4, in overtime to Quebec on Saturday.

*D John Klingberg (fifth round/2010) scored his sixth goal of the season in Frolunda’s 6-1 victory over Skelleftea in the Swedish Hockey League on Thursday. Klingberg has 14 points (6 goals, 8 assists) in 30 games this season. All six of Klingberg’s goals have come on the power play. He is tied for fifth in power play goals in the SHL and is tied for 10th in power play points (11).

D Ludwig Bystrom (second round/2012) returned to play in the SHL after getting cut from Sweden’s World Junior roster. He played in one game and had no points. He has 7 points (2 goals, 5 assists) in 32 games for Farjestad.

D Niklas Hansson (third round/2013) picked up an assist in his one game played for Rogle of Sweden’s HockeyAllsvenskan last week. Hansson has 6 points (1 goal, 5 assists) in 27 games.

*LW Emil Molin (fourth round/2011) had no points in one game for Rogle. He has 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) in 5 games since joining Rogle earlier this month.

*G Henri Kiviaho (fifth round/2012) won his most recent start in Finnish junior hockey, stopping 27 shots in KalPa’s 5-4 victory over Assat. Kiviaho has played 15 games in juniors this season and has a 5-7-3 record with a 3.29 goals against average and .894 save percentage.

*C Devin Shore (second round/2012) picked up two assists in the University of Maine’s 4-0 victory over Princeton over the weekend. Shore, who is riding an eight-game points streak, leads Maine with 21 points (7 goals, 14 assists) in 17 games this season.

*LW Alex Guptill (third round/2010) had no points in two games for the University of Michigan over the weekend. Guptill has 12 points (6 goals, 6 assists) in 15 games.

Injury notes

*C Mike Winther remains out with an upper body injury for Prince Albert of the Western Hockey League.
