Dallas Stars recall forwards Chris Mueller and Colton Sceviour from Texas
Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has recalled forwards Chris Mueller and Colton Sceviour from the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.
Mueller, 28, has appeared in two games for Dallas this season recording two shots. He is fourth on Texas with 53 points (24-29=53) in 57 games played and tied for the AHL lead with 14 power play goals.
The 5-foot-11, 210-pound native of West Seneca, New York was signed by Dallas as a free agent on July 8, 2013.
Sceviour, 24, has registered four points (3-1=4) and a +2 plus/minus rating in eight games with Dallas this season. He scored his first career NHL goal on Dec. 14, 2013 at Winnipeg and two of his three goals have been game-winners. In 54 games played with Texas, he leads the AHL in goals (32) and is third in the league in points (32-31=63), which are second-most on the team.
The six-foot, native of Red Deer, Alberta was originally selected by Dallas in the fourth round (112th overall) of the 2007 NHL Draft.
