DALLAS STARS FOUNDATION GRANTS

Dallas Stars Foundation Advisory

The Dallas Stars Foundation has announced a change to the grant policy. Grants will now be distributed annually and no longer distributed bi-annually. Grant applications will be accepted all year long with an annual application deadline of May 1st of each calendar year. Grant decisions will be mailed within eight weeks following the May 1st deadline.

The Dallas Stars Foundation was able to donate its first round of grants to local charities in the fall of 1999. The Foundation has made semi-annual distributions since that time, totaling over $2 million. The grants focus on a myriad of worthy causes such as medical and other basic needs for disadvantaged youth, educational and social issues, family suppers, and crisis intervention.

The Dallas Stars Foundation was established to serve as a positive force throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

The Foundation focuses its efforts on providing support to the children of the community so they may lead quality lives and develop into contributing members of society.

Through teamwork, interaction, and education, the Dallas Stars Foundation works to bring together all members of the Metroplex and build a bright future for today’s youth.
