2013-14 STICK WITH READING PROGRAMThe Dallas Stars Stick with Reading program encourages elementary aged students to foster a love of reading. Through our partnership with Molina Healthcare, this incentive based program will inspire and motivate students to meet their reading goals.
The program will run October 1 through October 31, 2013 and participating teachers will receive a Dallas Stars/ Molina Healthcare Stick with Reading poster to hang in their classroom to chart their students’ progress with stars for each book read. The top reader from each participating class will earn a special Dallas Stars prize. The winning class that has read the most books will earn brand new books for their classroom that are generously donated by Molina Healthcare and a classroom visit from Alex Goligoski, Dallas Stars defenseman and Stick with Reading spokesman. The Dallas Stars Foundation will also be recognizing each participating class, their teachers and the top student performers at a future Dallas Stars game.
