Now entering its 22nd year in the Metroplex, The Ticket is Dallas-Ft. Worth’s first and best all-sports station, and the winner of the NAB Marconi Award in 2007 and 2013, recognized as the Best All-Sports Station in the United States.
Marconi Award nominees The Musers in mornings, as well as The Hardline in afternoons, have been with The Ticket since its inception. Texas Radio Broadcasting Hall of Famer Norm Hitzges with Donovan Lewis and BaD Radio with Bob Sturm and Dan McDowell hold down the midday slots. All four daily shows consistently sit at the top of the Metroplex radio ratings. In addition to generating high ratings and garnering national awards, The Ticket is very involved in the local community and has raised well in excess of 2 million dollars with the help of their loyal “P1” listeners for local charities.
Stars broadcasters Dave Strader and Daryl Reaugh call the action on the ice, with Owen Newkirk and Bruce Levine hosting the Stars Pre-Game Show and Post-Game Show from the Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Club at American Airlines Center after all home games.
