Celena Rae

Fort Worth native Celena Rae is the Dallas Stars' regular anthem singer and helps with other areas of the team's promotion and game entertainment.
Blessed with a fantastic voice and beautiful smile, Rae auditioned for America's top reality TV show, American Idol, in the summer of 2004. Out of the 103,000 people that auditioned, Celena made it to the final 10 girls in the entire competition.

Celena Rae continues to work on her music career with her band in Dallas. Miss Rae recently signed a recording deal and is preparing to release her debut album with plans to begin touring nationally soon.

Grubes

Grubes is in his first year as Arena DJ. He was born and raised in Dallas. He attended high school at Jesuit College Prep, graduating in 2003. While there, he played baseball...poorly. This lack of athletic talent, however, led him to the Ticket.

Grubes spent a decade there, rising from lowly 16 year-old intern to still-lowly afternoon board operator. At the Ticket, Grubes enjoyed his time as a drop artist, inserting sound bites at the most (in)appropriate times to enhance the silliness of the show. Now he hopes to use those sweet skills to enhance your game experience at AAC!

Grubes is also employed by Fox Sports Southwest as an audio engineer and by the Dallas Observer as a freelance writer. He also plays guitar for Pepper Theft, a Red Hot Chili Peppers cover band. Otherwise, you can find him tweeting his insane thoughts at @tweetgrubes. They're Ralph Strangis approved!
