Scott White
Director of Hockey Operations/Texas Stars General Manager


Scott White was promoted as Dallas’ director of hockey operations in May 2013. He also serves as the general manager for the Texas Stars, Dallas’ development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). White is the only general manager in the history of the Texas Stars Hockey Club, and was instrumental in building Texas’ 2009-10 inaugural season team, which made a run to the 2010 Calder Cup Finals. Sr. Advisor Hockey Operations

Bob Gainey returns for his second season as senior advisor to hockey operations. Gainey re-joined the Stars last season after spending the previous seven years as a member of the Montreal Canadiens organization. Gainey was the Stars’ head coach from 1990-1996, and served as General Manager of the team from 1992-2002. Read More

J.J. McQueen
Player Development Coordinator

J.J. McQueen begins his 19th season with the Dallas Stars organization. He previously spent 10 years with the three-time Memorial Cup Champion Kamloops Blazers of the Western Hockey League as strength & conditioning coach and scout. McQueen graduated from the Canadian Forces School of Physical Education and Recreation in 1974, and spent 21 years with the Canadian Army as a Phys-Ed instructor. Read More
