2005-2006: Appeared in his first NHLseason with the Stars, notching 17 goals and 38 assists for 55 points in 81 games...His 38 assists were the sixth most assists by a rookie in franchise history and his 55 points ranked 10th on the rookie list...Went 10-for-13 in shootout attempts (also was one-for-one in penalty shots)...His 10 shootout goal led the league...Made his NHLdebut on Oct. 5 vs. Los Angeles...Scored his first NHLgoal on Oct. 11 vs. Phoenix...During the 2006 Winter Olympics with Finland, earned a Silver Medal and collected one goal and three assists...Notched a career-high three points (1-2-3) on Mar. 4 vs. Colorado...In five playoff games, tallied two goals and one assist for three points.

INTERNATIONAL CAREER: Played four seasons with Karpat of the Finnish Elite League from 2001-05...Spent 2004-05 with Karpat Oulu and posted 23 goals and 24 assists for 47 points, leading the team in goals and points, and ranking second in assists...Among Finnish Elite League leaders, he ranked tied for fifth in assists, tied for sixth in points and eighth in goals...In 2003-04 with Karpat, posted 38 points (15-23-38) in 55 games as well as seven points (3-4-7) in 15 playoff outings...In 51 games in 2002-03, he tallied 14 goals and 23 assists for 37 points and in 54 outings during his first season with Karpat of 2001-02, he recorded 10 goals and six assists for 16 points...Represented Finland in the 2002 and 2003 World Junior Championships, ranking first on the club in scoring with eight points in 2002, and second in 2003...Skated for Finland at the 2005 World Championships, and won a bronze medal with Team Finland at the World Under-18 Championships in 2001.

PERSONAL: His first hockey memory is scoring the game-winning goal in a shootout in the final game of a tournament when he was eight years old...Was childhood friends with defenseman Joni Pitkanen of the Philadelphia Flyers...Lists his favorite TVshow as Friends, and his favorite movie as Wedding Crashers... His hobbies include golf, tennis and beach soccer.
