Vernon Fiddler (VUHR-nuhn FIHD-luhr) is entering his 10th season in the NHL and his second with Dallas after spending the previous two campaigns with the Phoenix Coyotes. Fiddler enters the 2012-13 season just one assist away from recording his 100th career NHL helper. Fiddler has also won over half of his faceoffs in each of his last seven NHL seasons and finished sec- ond on the team last season with a 50.9% faceoff percentage. Fiddler played in all 82 games last season for the first time in his career.
