2014-15 SEASON

Split the campaign between Dallas and the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League (AHL) … Tallied six goals and nine points (6-3=9) in 31 NHL games with Dallas … Finished the campaign ranked sixth on Dallas and 16th amongst NHL rookies with 89 hits, leading all first-year skaters that played less than 32 games … Ranked second among Stars rookies with 78 shots on goal … Recorded five plus SOG three times this season, scoring a goal in each … Also registered 21 points (14-7=21) in 33 regular-season AHL contests with Texas … Finished second on the team with a +19 plus/minus rating, marking a new professional career high … Shared sixth on Texas with 14 goals, including three power play goals … Was named the CCM/AHL Player of the Week for the week ending Dec. 28, posting five goals (5-0=5), including two game-winning goals, and a +7 rating in three games … Made his NHL debut on Dec. 31 vs. Arizona and scored his first career NHL goal (1-0=1), the eventual GWG, on his first NHL shot, becoming the first Stars player to score the GWG in his debut since Fabian Brunnstrom (Oct. 15, 2008 vs. Nashville) … Notched two points (1-1=2) for his first career NHL multi-point game and posted a season-high +3 rating on Jan. 3 vs. Minnesota … Logged a season-high 19:58 of ice time and scored one goal (1-0=1) on five SOG on Jan. 10 at Colorado … Posted a season-high six SOG and scored a goal (1-0=1) on March 3 vs. NY Islanders … Matched a season-high six SOG and scored a goal (1-0=1) on March 19 vs. Pittsburgh … Playoffs: Shared first on Texas with two points (1-1=2) and led the team with 17 SOG in three Calder Cup Playoffs contests.

INTERNATIONAL CAREER: Skated for Team Canada at the 2013 IIHF World Junior Championship in Russia … Tallied four points (1-3=4) and a +3 rating in six tournament contests … Also represented Canada at the 2011 IIHF U18 World Championship in Germany, where he finished tied for second on the team with four goals and shared fifth with seven points (4-3=7) in seven games … Scored two PPG in the tournament.
