DALLAS (AP) -Returning home and getting into a shootout was the right formula for the Dallas Stars.

Sergei Zubov, Jussi Jokinen and Mike Ribeiro scored in the shootout and the Stars snapped a three-game losing streak with a 4-3 victory over the slumping Minnesota Wild on Saturday night.

The Stars, who were coming off an 0-3 road trip, improved to 14-1 over the past two seasons in a shootout.

"Coming back home we needed to get the groove back," said Ribeiro, whose goal in the tiebreaker clinched the victory. "We have to get back to winning and this is a great start."

Ribeiro faked to his right then took a shot to his left to beat Niklas Backstrom and send Minnesota to its fourth straight loss.

Zubov and Jokinen scored on Dallas' first two attempts in the shootout as it improved to 9-2 at home. Jokinen had the tying goal with 4:17 left in regulation.

"It's important for us to get wins at home, especially after losing the lead," Jokinen said. "These two points are big for us."

Marty Turco made 32 saves to win for the first time in three starts. He had not won since beating the Atlanta Thrashers on Nov. 17.

Turco also helped kill a 4-on-3 Wild power play in overtime and stopped Mikko Koivu on Minnesota's first attempt in the shootout.

"We feel pretty confident in the shootout," Turco said. "For me letting one of two in and winning is pretty amazing. But just getting to the shootout is the most important part."

Phillipe Boucher and Loui Eriksson added goals for Dallas.

Brian Rolston scored the Wild's only goal in the shootout.

Rolston, Koivu and Petteri Nummelin scored for Minnesota. Backman had 21 saves for the Wild, who have won just four times in 16 games.

"It's frustrating," Minnesota right wing Mark Parrish said. "You go out there and work your hardest and try to lay it all out there. Right now points are tough to come by for us."

Koivu gave Minnesota a 3-2 lead at 1:54 of the third. Parrish thought he extended the Wild's lead with about five minutes left when Turco made an apparent kick save on his shot.

Minnesota thought it had a goal, but play was never stopped for a review. Jokinen tied the game a minute later.

"They didn't look at it. The referee didn't ask for it," Minnesota coach Jacques Lemaire said. "We can't rely on the building to review it. Maybe in our building, yes, but not elsewhere."

Minnesota, shut out by Detroit on Friday, had scored just one goal in its last two losses.

Nummelin put the Wild on the board first when he flipped the puck past Turco from the high slot at 2:36 of the first.

Dallas tied it 48 seconds later on Boucher's slap shot between Backstrom's legs. It was Boucher's seventh goal of the season.

Eriksson gave the Stars a 2-1 lead with a power-play goal at 8:56 of the second.

Rolston, who was stopped on a breakaway about a minute earlier, beat Turco with a shot from the left circle to tie it 2-2 with 55 seconds remaining in the second. It was his 13th goal of the season.

Notes: Minnesota RW Marian Gaborik missed his 19th straight game (groin) and C Pavol Demitra (concussion) sat out for the sixth straight game. ... Dallas LW Brenden Morrow (groin) and D Trevor Daley (concussion) were each sidelined for the fourth consecutive contest. ... Rolston, the Wild's leading scorer, had just three goals in his previous 15 games.
