ST. LOUIS (AP) _ Marty Turco wasn't perfect this time against the St. Louis Blues. He was more than good enough.

The Dallas goalie, who shut out the Blues on Friday at home, made 19 saves Saturday as the Stars completed a home-and-home series with a 3-2 victory.

Dallas coach Dave Tippett said Turco deserves much of the credit for those four points.

``Last night, Turco was the reason we won, and tonight, he hung around there and gave us an opportunity to win,'' Turco said.

Although he lost his shutout early in the second period, Turco felt he played better Saturday.

``It's always funny how it works out,'' Turco said. ``Last night, you don't quite get there and pucks hit you. Tonight, you get there and the puck gets through.''

Not much has gotten through Turco, who will start for the Western Conference in next month's All-Star Game.

``I know I can play a lot better and certainly be more consistent and more efficient,'' Turco said. ``But I haven't felt much better than I do now.''

David Oliver provided Dallas' offense with a goal and an assist. Jason Arnott and Jere Lehtinen had the other goals for the Stars, who have lost just twice in 11 road games (7-2-2).

Pavol Demitra had a goal and an assist, and Scott Mellanby also scored for St. Louis, which has lost three straight for the first time since March 7-11, 2002.

Blues coach Joel Quenneville said his team didn't have much jump

``We didn't have quite the energy as last night,'' he said.

With the game tied 2-2, Lehtinen gave Dallas its first lead with 10:24 remaining when Pierre Turgeon's centering pass from behind the net bounced off Lehtinen's skate and trickled past goalie Chris Osgood.

The Blues went 0-for-6 on the power play Friday, but scored both of their goals with the man advantage Saturday.

``It looked like we had some chances and had a little success on the power play,'' Quenneville said.

St. Louis took a 1-0 lead at 1:02 of the second period when Keith Tkachuk worked down left wing and fed a pass to Eric Boguniecki in the left circle. Boguniecki slid the puck across the crease to Demitra, who scored his 17th goal into the open net.

Arnott tied it with his 12th at 13:27, but Mellanby gave the Blues a 2-1 lead 1:09 later when he deflected Demitra's shot from the right point past Turco.

Oliver tied it again with a power-play goal when he beat Osgood with a wrist shot from the right circle with 2:31 left in the second period.
